RICB Launches Two New Products
Thimphu, Bhutan, 01st September 2025: The Royal Insurance Corporation of Bhutan (RICB) Limited is pleased to launch Deferred Annuity Scheme and Kuenphen Tshesog Ngenchoel to provide social and financial security to the Bhutanese people.
The Deferred Annuity Scheme is designed to provide Bhutanese citizens with a reliable source of retirement income through regular contributions to receive a guaranteed annuity pay out upon reaching their chosen vesting age. The annuity options include life annuity, life annuity guaranteed for 10 years, joint life annuity, and joint life annuity guaranteed for 10 years. Customers may also opt for additional life insurance coverage of Nu 100,000 to Nu 500,000, providing protection up to the age of 70.
Kuenphen Tshesog Ngenchoel a pure term insurance product is designed to provide financial security to families in the event of the policyholder’s death. This plan offers flexible coverage with sum assured ranging from Nu 100,000 to Nu 10,000,000, for policy terms from 5 to 40 years. The plan is open to individuals aged 18 to 60 years, with coverage extending up to 70 years of age. An optional Critical Illness Cover rider is available, offering a lump sum pay out upon diagnosis of listed serious illnesses.
Both products offer multiple premium payment modes, a range of policy terms, and clear benefits to suit the financial planning needs of individuals and families.
