The Royal Insurance Corporation of Bhutan Limited launched a new insurance policy titled “Dhe-yob Ngen-sung Lay-char” to commemorate the 60th Birth Anniversary of His Majesty the Fourth Druk Gyalpo.
The new policy is equipped with far-reaching benefits of compensation in the event of death, permanent total disablement, temporary disablement and an optional cover for medical expenses.
This policy has been designed particularly with the following objectives;
To provide an insurance with dual cover at an affordable rate
To ensure social security and welfare for the drivers and their families
Drivers are highly vulnerable to fatal accidents resulting in loss of lives and leaving their families behind in destitute situation. Thus the new policy was specially designed for the drivers in view of enhancing their social security and to ensure the welfare of their families.
The policy has two types of covers namely;
Standard Dhe-yob: covering Death, Total Permanent Disablement and Temporary Partial Disablement
Premium Dhe-yob (optional): with additional cover of health insurance to the above cover.
