RICB Celebrates 50 Years of Service
Thimphu, Bhutan, 6th of January 2025: The Royal Insurance Corporation of Bhutan Limited (RICB) is celebrating, its Golden Jubilee tomorrow (7th of January 2025), marking an extraordinary 50 years of dedication to protecting the lives and properties across Bhutan. The event shall be hosted at Pemako, Thimphu, and RICB’s Corporate Office, Norzin Lam, Thimphu, and Branch Offices around the country.
Since its establishment on the 7th of January 1975, the RICB has continuously committed its efforts to support the growth and security of Bhutan, delivering comprehensive insurance solutions and services.
To honour the legacy of this achievement, RICB shall present a gift of a Firetruck and a D-Max Pick-Up Truck to the Royal Bhutan Police to further augment its efforts to save lives and protect properties during emergencies and disasters.
As part of the Golden Jubilee celebrations, RICB will unveil a Documentary and a Coffee Table Book to highlight its significant contributions to nation-building over the years. These two commemorative works provide a visual and narrative journey through RICB’s milestones, and its impact on Bhutan’s socio-economic development front through its financial services. RICB’s Golden Jubilee Celebration Day also signals our preparedness to adapt to the changing needs of the modern world. As the insurance industry evolves, RICB remains committed to delivering innovative, customer-focused services while upholding its role as the protector of the lives and properties of all Bhutanese citizens.
