ANNOUNCEMENT

Special Loan Rebate

As part of our commitment to help our borrowers with their financial security, the Royal Insurance Corporation of Bhutan Limited (RICB) is pleased to offer a Special Loan Rebate to help our borrowers recover from the impact of COVID-19 and transition to regular loan repayments.

With this goal, RICB is offering a Special Loan Rebate to clients with Non-Performing Loans (NPL) sanctioned before December 2019.

Rebate Options

  1. 90% rebate on interest for full cash settlement of the outstanding loan.
  2. 45% rebate on interest for partial cash payment covering 50% of the outstanding loan.
  3. 27% rebate on interest for loans transferred to new borrowers.

Conditions

  1. Loan transfer will be within the credit norms.
  2. Interest income includes FEIF, IPS, and Late fees.
  3. Any repayment shall be adjusted in the order of late fees, interest accrued, and the principal outstanding.
  4. The Special Loan Rebate is valid until 31st December 2025.
